Tell upon/on برا اثر ڈالنا

Overwork is telling upon his health.

Grateful to somebody for something

Obliged to somebody for something

Thirst for طلب، شوق  

These children have no thirst for learning.

I am a bit tired from the journey.

He is true to his words.

They have vowed to be true to their leader whatever happens.

 

Turn down ردکرنا، انکار کرنا

      He asked her to marry him, but she turned down the proposal.

Turn up آنا، پہنچنا

      He turns up late for everything.

Take after مشابہت رکھنا

  1. Tremble with کانپنا

His legs were trembling with fear.
